Radial taping machine RAM

This machine is designed for testing and packaging components with radial lead wire. Components can be fed by a vibrational feeder (bulk form) or out of a lead frame system. The operational system can be supplied with processes such as for example measuring, polarizing, wire straightening, wire bending, wire lenght cutting and so on. Also available in this section is a polarity tester and where needed, the component is turned. Further on the bending, the polarity re-check and the cutting of the wire leads is carried out there. Within the afterwards following taping system the components are fixed into the card-board carrier tape by a hot sealing adhesive tape. The mechanical positioning and the electrical characteristics are checked again.

The final step is either the reeling up of the tape or a zig-zag folded form, the so called Ammupack/Ammopack System.

It is possible to operate the machine at 3,5 parts per second. This leads to a production speed rate of approx. 12.600 pieces per hour.

Our taping processes are fully qualified in accordance to the international tapping standard DIN IEC 60286-2.
